About the Business
Genesis Joinery Solutions is a family run business, but David is the key player, with over 25 years experience in the cabinet making and joinery field. His passion for making furniture started at an early age, whilst he helped his father run his furniture buiness in East Yorkshire. David knew this is all he wanted to do and became a qualified cabinet maker at the age of 21 after serving his three year apprenticeship. David's experience comes from working for companies involved in high quality refurbishment of hotels and restaurants.
This included manufacturing and installing reception counters and bar areas, in which a lot of this work required bespoke hand veneered furniture to be made using exotic timbers. From fitting out the inside of a canal boat in East Yorkshire to working on a new command centre for the government in Saudi Arabia (after the first gulf war), David's work has been varied and interesting.
